Thanks for your interest! Predestination will be mostly distributed digitally to save on production costs, but we&#039;ll be producing a small number of collector&#039;s edition boxes containing a physical DVD copy of the game and some other goodies like posters, keychains, and such.

We offered this as part of our Kickstarter campaign and decided to leave it on the pre-order page because some people just love physical editions and collectables. We haven&#039;t officially revealed what the box will look like or what extra goodies it will ship with. When we finalise that, we&#039;ll update the pre-order page and make an announcement on the blog!

A wave attack that delivers damage over successive rounds.
A Gattling option for Projectile and energy weapons
Fighter Launch tubes- Basically tech that allows different launching rates for fighters.
A Specialized shield used for intercepting Missiles and ramming.

Various advanced techs to make weapons do more damage, or take less energy, or supercharge, or take up less space, Likewise for shields, engines...

Over armed ships and Shock (Firing too many weapons in a short time damaging the firing ship)

Ammunition explosions, Chain reaction shuttle/ fighter bay explosions, Chain reaction Engine damage


Advanced Boarding party option
	-Take command of the Boarding Party, or quick combat it...

Boom/ Saucer Separation

Energy allocation - Ability to boost power to shields, weapons, engines, sensors for increased effectiveness.  - Can set standard and change during combat?    in example above someting like Allocating extra power to shields (or anything) requires reducing power to 3 other systems.

Wild Weasel, Chaff...  Equipment to distract/ Draw off missiles

Suicide Shuttle, Scatter pack - Tech to provide emergency weapons/ extra fire power.

Freighters - Possibly something the player does not choose to build, something that just happens to trade between the players colonies and any race that they decide to trade with... Freighters can become targets of opportunity for invaders, Defensive ships can be assigned to guard them?

Armed freighters - Tech to create weapon modules to replace cargo modules on Freighters durring wartime.

Conscription - Ability to conscript population or freighters (etc) to use in defense.]]></description>

Engines seem to be one of the first targets for drones.  How about an engine surge to disuade drones in the tailpipes?

Magnetic cluster bombs for drone, missle defense.

My idea is to allow building design for them as in Spore or even the castle of Settlers 7 (or 6?) then to attach a specific modifier to it. To avoid having multiple similar bonus giving &quot;unique&quot; buildings maybe just allow a specific modifier be chosen only once per culture/faction, or galaxy.
