Head-tracking in Predestination, for a 3D perspective without expensive equipment
« Head-tracking in Predestination, for a 3D perspective without expensive equipment
Above: Johnny Lee’s head tracking application, centred. When the user moves his head, this application calculates the perspective from which he should see the virtual room behind the screen redraws the entire scene.
Below: The head-tracking module in the Predestination engine, centred. This is a mathematically accurate implementation of Johnny’s system, but the scene uses 3D ship models instead of flat 2D targets. The result is identical to Johnny’s head-tracking video and looks awesome.
